Default Old Knot to New Handle?

I apologize if this question has been covereed so feel free to direct me to a previous thread within "Brush Making and Restorations".

Most of the discussion here is on putting a new knot into an old handle, restoring an old brush with a new knot. I have a relatively new brush with a boar knot I like but in a handle I don't like and it seems set too high (65mm loft) and is floppy. I think that a deeper set in a nicer handle would be a fun project for my first restore.

I am looking to set an existing knot in a new handle. So, I'm looking for handle ideas. I don't have a lathe or the woodturning expertise any way. Can anyone recommend a vendor to just buy a handle? Am I better off just sending it in to someone to reset in a handle? Thanks for any advice or a redirect to another thread.

You could go the whipped dog and purchase a stock handle and have them drill it a little deeper (if necessary). Or send it to Rudy and have something custom made and he can set it for you.

if you dont have a lathe how about a large screwdriver handle and drill it out and drop your own knot in it
