Tapatalk? / Mobile version of the site**See post 67**

Viewing a forum in tapatalk is in a much simpler format and makes loading on phone much faster.

Heres a screenshot from my phone.

My understanding, very briefly -

B+B is a highly customized site, an off the shelf install of tapatalk wouldn't work.
With the old software, a mobile version was in the discussion stage.
With the upgrade software, a mobile version is being planned.
There are a lot of bigger fires still needing to be put out with the upgrade, which has pushed a mobile version back (indefinitely?)


Anyone on the backend team, please correct me if I'm wrong!

I know it would be hard but boy I would love it. I think tapatalk is geat, almost better than a normal browser!

Here's something that y'all may not have considered. As mentioned, there are other issues with the forum to be dealt with first, some of which we may not know about. If Tapatalk were installed now, then the fix for some of those issues could 'break' it, resulting in a lot of complaints about Tapatalk not working. Better to let it wait.

There is no tapatalk because it opens up a pretty large security issue. There are alternatives being looked at.

Please add Tapatak support if it's possible. It's amazing.
So much more convenient on Android.
It's pain to use full site on mobile and I do it most of the time.

+4, it is much esier to use. i am not aware of the security issue. I sit on the board for a motorcyelc club which we have a forum to communicate with our members and we did not see those issues. It was pretty painless. People had to still log on to full site to use our site store and such. it time to embrace technology and change. make the leap!

I would also be very happy if tapatalk was enabled for this forum.

I have become addicted to B&B and need my fix every day. On the days i am away from home i always visit this forum from my phone. Tapatalk support would make me so happy.

I second that, I already use tapatalk for other forums. It is so much superior and compatible with vbulletin. There is over 30 000 forum that are disponible with tapatalk, I think B&B deserve its iphone app.

There is a mobile version of this web site now that works well, so Tapatalk isn't really needed.

It is compatible with vbulletin, it cost nothing to add a forum, remember password, list all your forums membership at one place and its awesome for iphone users. So why not?

It won't change anything for those who don't use tapatalk, it will change something for the tapatalk users and like I say it will cost nothing. See it like another Option for B&B visibility.

It looks like that in order to do with Tapatalk what this web site would want to do with it, they would have to spend some money for a subscription. The limited free version seems to lack some stuff, so the fact that it is free is pointless.
