The case with my '53-'54 Rocket HD says "Made in England" inside the Gillette diamond on the underside. The case also has a different profile (sorry, no camera).

40’s style Rocketthis razor is the Rocket and common in places like Canada, England and Australiawhere they were made . These razors came in the clear/red styrene case above and cardboard boxes like the early Super Speeds. These can say patent pending or have Brit. Pat. 694093 stamped in the blade tray 63 grams in weight.

I have a British Super Speed and the II marks are part of a I, II, III rating, which is for different head weights. I believe it was 5 or 10 grams difference between each step. II is by far the most common. http://theshaveden.com/forums/thread...fined-de.8590/. This is for all things rocket related.

thatīs the first time, that I see that blue case Made in USA for a Canadian set. I think your Rocket says Patent Pending. The 1949 Rocket comes in a red styrene case like the 1949 Super-Speed. But all red Rocket cases I`ve seen are Made in Canada. The 1950 Super-Speed comes in a blue styrene case like yours. I believe the Rocket goes the same way with the blue case. The first english made case that I know is from the 1951 Anniversary Set. Did you buy it in Canada? Are the blades french made? Whatīs the date code of the blades?
