Joris, for now. I have a mergress on the way, we shall see how it stacks up.

(1) Merkur 23C (for almost a year)
(2) 1967 Super Speed (once a month)
(3) 1955 Red Tip, this will be #1 now. The last two shaves I have used this after picking it up yesterday, have been my best in the last year of DE shaving!
my 1961 slim adjustable is my daily shaver

It had been a Merkur Progress (shorter handle) untill I picked up some, first one and then two more, Gillette Tech razors--this is one razor that was unfortunately billed as a new-to-wet-shaving razor. I find it to be a razor that those new to wet shaving and seasoned wet shavers can find great joy in using. Just be sure to load a sharp blade for an exceptional shave. I've used Astra SPP (not bad in the Tech), Feather (I can't use Feathers), and Persona Med Prep (perfect for me) blades. Also, I changed the ball-end handles on mine for EJ DE89LBL handles, which I prefer because of their added weight and larger diameter; and the threads are a match.
Red Tip and my whippeddog straight see the most action these days.

Futur for ages but the last couple of weeks has been the EJ DE89. Both great razors.

I can't resist buying new (old) razors at yard sales and flea markets, but my hands down go-to razor is my ancient Stahly buzz bomb.... I prefer the "live blade" feature, but even when I use it without running the spring motor, it's still my favorite blade holder. Stahly got it right when they designed the blade geometry/clearances of the razor head. I think I'll buy a dead Stahly, and attach its head to a standard slim three piece razor handle to compare it to other premium razors... In any event, the Stahly has been my favorite since the days before the first cartridge shavers lured me off the path of DE shaving bliss...

Blue Tip for the past several months. Paired with a Personna Red, it's fool-proof. A great shave with no irritation or weepers every time.

IMHO, I have bought, spent money and used too many DE razors.
I'm currently using only one razor: the Merkur Progress. I still don't like the handle (too bulky) but an adjustable is great. I wish that one day MÜHLE will launch and adjustable DE razor.
Slowly, but surely, R41 has climbed to the top of the class, followed by my Mergress.
Since I gotten into DE several years back my primary razor was the Futur. I used the Butterfly model for traveling and leaving at GF's houses, but recently bought a 34C and I love it out of all 3 of them with a Feather blade which I didn't like before. Hope this helps.
