I was curious to know if the menthol in Brut cologne adds anything to the scent or feel or if the splash-on is essentially the same? I have the splash-on and aftershave and was just wondering.

I think that they just pour the same juice into all three bottles--the AS, splash-on, and cologne.
The regular Brut doesn't have that much Menthol, but it is there.
I don't perceive any menthol, but I am willing to take your word for it. I always found that the different varieties were almost identical.
I'm pretty sure as Zack says that Splash-On has no menthol, while the other incarnations of Brut do. I think in the "classic spray" version the menthol is simply representing the mint note, which is fleeting but adds a little green zest to the top notes. I do detect a difference between the plastic bottle version of Brut and the Classic, in that the former smells stronger and has a headier development, whereas the latter is more powdery, and significantly lighter.
