    Default My Worst Cuts...

...have not been from shaving but from fiddling with my DE razors!

I can't help myself. They look so good, I just want to touch them... Ouch! They bite when they are loaded!

    Anyone else?

Yah know, I have never cut myself shaving. Never.. ever. I was born with a DE in my hand.

Just did this inadvertently as I was caressing the curves of my Tradere razor...hold by the ends, not the sharp edges...d'ohhh!

I suggest, from experience, do not EVER try to catch a DE that slips out of your hand!!

It's easy to forget just how dangerous the blades can be when you rub your face with them every day without injury. I do not fear my blades at all, but last week received a nasty slice on my thumb from my Parker shavette. Just a reminder to respect the blade. I find it to be a testament to our skill and the skill of the people that designed our razors and blades that we are able to safely use these very sharp tools on our faces. I have never used a DE razor, but I get an immense feeling of satisfaction when I finish a BBS shave with my shavette and there's no bloodshed.

Respect the blade and it will respect you. Don't respect it and it's gonna bite you.
