Finally tried Carnal Flower

First impression:

Very good...but very very feminine. I am ok wearing Windsor, Dior Homme, Kenzo Power without any hesitation about them being feminine as others might be concerned. But I don't think I can pull off Carnal Flower.

Also got samples of:

Iris 39 by Le Labo: Also very feminine. Good but not for me.

Dior Leather Oud: I don't like Oud and I only like leather so-so....just ok for me. Not my cup of tea.

FM Bois D'Orage: Didn't like it.

These are just initial impressions and I plan on giving them further tests. But none with the "major wow factor!" that I got with other frags such as Windsor or New Haarlem. But then again at first I didn't ilk Egoiste and Musc Ravageur and they are now always in my top 10!

Not surprised that CF didn't work for you. Especially stacked up against the likes of Windsor. I'm crazy mad about leather frags, but I'm still on the fence about Leather Oud. Some days I like it, some days the oud note is too prominent and I'd rather the leather be taking the lead. Iris 39 was forgettable and I haven't tried Bois D'Orange.
