    Lightbulb Arko August

Yes the title is worth the three exclamation points!!!

So I have an unused stick of Arko and a NIB Max Comfort Cream. I'm dedicating the month of August to using nothing but my Arko products (first time user as well). Even if the scent sucks (which I'm sure isn't that bad), nothing but Arko. Anyone wanna join me in celebration of Arko?

Ooh. I need a good reason to use a couple of sticks, but I've committed to finishing a puck of Arlington after Cade in the 3017 thread. I guess I'm having an Arlington August, if I get through the Cade in time! Enjoy your month of great shaves!

    For an entire month?

Vintage Old Spice, Tabac, Cella, La Toja and a host of others say, "Nay".

A week I could hang with, but a month without visiting my other friends? I'm afraid I'm too addicted to the variety that is one of the pleasures of my humble den.

Sounds like a good way to end my last month of the Summer of Restraint. I'll just get my menthol from my Alt-Innsbruck.

I just got my first Arko stick last week so I am tempted. I used it every day last week but this moring I went with Proraso cream and I have to say I was delighted to not have the nostril assault that is Arko. The lathering qualities of the Arko are fantastic but the smell, I dunno if I could handle it for a full month. I will remain on the fence until wednesday.

I got an Arko stick sitting in my closet waiting to be used. I don't think I'll make it for the whole time. But in honor of this fine month, I will bust it out.

I am taking Arko traveling with me and it should be the only soap but I will be glad to return and use other products so no full month of Arko for me. Couple of weeks I can do standing on my head but after that I get itchy for the other goodies.

Alas I can't commit to a full month either, I simply have too many new soaps and creams en rout to commit!

now I can SAY i'll do it, but I wont - but I will commit to using Arko Wed Aug 1st and Tues Aug 31st to ring August in and out.

Like your Arko guy's standing on his head?!

I used my new Arko stick almost exclusively last month, except for a couple of times. Once I tried face lathering with cream with just my hands - fail!, And once was to try a new sample of Jack Black Beard Lube, also fail!

My Arko stick seems to be working just fine, thank you! So sure, I'm in!

I'm in! why not? .....ever since I started traditional wet shaving I haven't really gotten "intimate" with one product. I don't think I've used the same soap/cream twice in a row, I've bounced back and forth but I think I could use a little stability in my wet shaving routine... lol

    All in for Arko August!

If I can get a stick in by this weekend I'd be down for that. Doubt it, as I'm on a spending (for anything) break until payday. I've only tried a small sample of Arko, and I loved it. I don't understand all the detractors based on the smell. It smells like Ivory soap, and the second your done shaving, the smell is gone.

I love my Arko, but a whole month is too much. I like to have a little bit of variety.

AWESOME!!! Should we be even awesomer (yes its a word) and add an "Arko August 2012 Warrior" to our sig lines so we look even cooler?! I'm super stoked others are in for it! I have no idea what I'm in for (never used Arko). After a long day/night at work this just caps it off!

I'd like to try this. I have half a stick I want to kill before I get any other soaps.

    Of course!

I was going to wait and shave tomorrow but my facial hair was getting a little out of hand and I had a GFT Almond sample I had been wanting to try so I'm starting Arko August clean shaven but can't wait to dive head first and swim in Arko for the next 31 days! Well it was the innaugural day of Arko August and my first day using it ever. I had one of the best shaves since I started DE shaving a year ago. The lather was outstanding and I like the smell. It reminds me of my grandmothers bathroom from years ago. She used something that smelled like Arko.
I will admit, I squished it into a small tub so I can use it like a puck. I hope I did not destroy the Arkos Spirit.

Oh and I added the Sig. Arko Warriors!
