Sunday evening:
Synthetic badger 23mm knot from TGN in my father's Surrey handle
Dettol (dregs of the tube) laced with KMF fragrance free, bowl lathered
Super Adjustable, P-1, set at 4 (first pass) then 3
Dorco ST-301, second shave
Target witch hazel
Body Shop Razor Relief, <2009 formula
The two previous shaves, Friday & Saturday, were done with a travel kit consisting of an ST-301 in a Slim and Irisch Moos stick face lathered. The Irisch Moos is so slick that I'm not so aware of extra pressure, and it encourages going for BBS. That is until I feel the sting of the witch hazel and the razor burn even after a good ASB (along w. redness and weepers).
Tonight was a CCS to DFS, hopefully enough to get me through tomorrow. Close attention was paid to keeping the pressure down. Absolutely no sting from the witch hazel or ASB, and no weepers.
