Suggest a tattoo parlor in Chicago

Gentlemen,

I am not new to tattoos. I currently have six and hope to add another to my collection soon. However, I just realized that I have never actually gotten one in Chicago. Can anyone recommend a good parlor. Basic internet reviews have me leaning towards the tattoo cave, windy city ink, or royalflesh but I was wondering if any of you guys frequent a tattoo joint in chicago? Thanks!

i have allot of tattoos and have always had good luck and experiences at tattoo factory. My buddy went to tat cave to get his fixed and they did a good job I just know the background of the tattoo parlor and the owner kid joe worked at jade dragon and I boycott jade dragon so I have not been there but my friend is very impressed with his work he got done there. as far as windy city and royalflesh I have never seen there work. A good place also is revolution tattoo I know a few people that go there and really like the work omar does he is the owner, he did touch up work on a tattoo of mine and really made it look allot better.

allot of it also depends on what you want as you know having tattoos your self that everybody has a type of tattoo that they love to do and some times its worth hunting down a person for a type of tat I am drawing up my next tat right now and the guy who will be doing it he does amazing day of the dead work even though I have never been to him before I have seen a ton of his work and its great but he does not work at a shop any more so I can recommend him.

Thanks a lot Tommyguns! I am actually considering two pieces right now. I will get them both eventually but I don't know which i'm gonna get first. One is a really dark depiction of Kerberos the three headed dog of ancient greek mythology and the other is a MP5 submachinegun. Thanks again for all of the info. You have made my choice harder!
