Default The great evening shave, a newbie advice to newbies

While it is not uncommon to shave in the evening I guess the norm is to have it as part of your morning routine, like always been for me. However, also the following is not so rare; in the mornings, me I need to be slapped around a few times by good old Mr. Coffee to understand I am alive and awake. Maybe some mornings I have a slight hangover. Point is, the mornings may not be the best time of the day to focus on learning a new skill, like what I do now, DE shaving. So recently changed my habits to shade in the evening. Shaves are so much better than the old shaves so I am looking good next morning. I have something to look forward during the day. When I shave I am more motivated and take more time than when doing it in the zombie mode of the young day. Maybe I put on some cool jazz and have a beer, it is great, maybe for some something to consider...

If I have an early morning, I will shave the night before.

I have been an evening shaver for years. I love to have a relaxing shave to wind down from the day.

I shave in the evenings a lot too, but that is usually if my morning was rushed, or simply too lay before I had to head out the door.

I also shave in the evenings. More time available and I also look forward to it during the day too. Definitely a good time to do it for someone just starting out.

I always shave in the evening during the week. As a newbie it gives me plenty of time to slow down, pay attention and enjoy my shave.

I switched to evening shaves as well. I work from home, roll out of bed, have coffee and sit at the desk. At night I can take my time and enjoy my DE shaving.

    Night shaver here.

Some night time activities are better with a fresh shave....

I am a night shaver during the week and shave whenever during the weekend. I always look forward to my Fri. evening shave. I really take my time on my beard prep and get into relaxation mode for the weekend. A nice shave, bourbon on the rocks and a splash of bourbon for an AS have a way of making you forget about a miserable week at work.

Sounds like a great way to start the weekend & once the shave is done, a second bourbon and a cigar!
Ok, now I have my Friday planned.

I shave every AM, by 2PM I have already stubbles visible. If I shave in the evening, next day AM my face would like shaved 2 days ago... would love to shave in the evening if my facial hair doesn't grow soo fast.

As a noob I enjoy the fact that there is no schedule to meet after my night time shave and I can take my time and relax.
