Default Is it me or does C&E Nomad smell funny?

I went into a C&E today for the first time to pick up some West Indian Lime Shave Cream (which is not bad by the way). While there we were checking out the other soaps and creams. When my daughter said the Nomad soap smelled like a green pepper so when I smelled it, she was right. Anyone else experience this? or is this our noses?

It is just you. A lot of folks get a jalapeno smell from it, to me it smells a lot like Grey Flannel cologne. I love the scent and use the soap in the cooler months, but scents can be very YMMV. Did you buy any of the Nomad?

No, you're wrong. It's 2 day old grass and jalapenos.

    I like it.

I don't get peppers but I definitely found Nomad to be disgusting. I usually love green and even vegetal scents, but there was something "off" about this to me.

I much prefer the C&E Sandalwood.

No I didn't buy any this time, though I do like the scent of the Sienna and Sandalwood. I may have to skip the Nomad unless the scent changes drastically after putting it on.

I don't fine that the soap scent lingers after a shave.

The balm smells fantastic, the shaving cream definitely smells like peppers.

I traded the Nomad because I didn't like the scent. I got a Sienna in return. Not a huge fan of it and the bst wasn't any help in selling it. I am stuck with it for now. I have seen a good deal on their sandalwood, but so far C&E is 0/2 with me, so I doubt I'll be taking that chance.

Have you considered PIFing it on the PIF thread?

I thought about it but I have something else in mind should I hit that thread again.

Nomad is one I use. Scent is distinctive but not offensive to me

I really like the balm but yeah, the cream is weird. Never smelled the soap but I assume it's similar. Note to self: buy some AS.

I've got the Nomad cream. It seems to have a spiciness to it, but I am not sure about jalepenos being in there. That said, I do like it, but the packaging is dire and the cap has broken. It is far too flimsy.

I have Nomad soap and use it regularly. I have never analyzed the smell too much but I really enjoy it, whatever it is.

First time I took a whiff? Freshly sliced green peppers.

Nomad cream does have a peppery scent to me. I like it ok. Probably won't buy any more though.
