    Default Microsoft Excel Starter Program

Need help! Have some financial spreadsheets which I moved over from an older Microsoft program, and suddenly I have "gone dumb" in updating them! Need to copy some formulae down columns which I used to do through an edit function. And I have down in it Excel Starter. But suddenly I cannot find the way to down it! Across the top of the page it lists File, Home, Insert, Page Layout and Formulas; but no place can I find my old "fill down" button! Need help fairly desperately!!!

    Thanks!

Just found it!! Yeah!!! Under home, clear over to the right is an unlabeled down arrow which allows one to copy down. However, in exploring "help", it looks like there is a way to copy cell contents, formulae, etc independent of each other. How to do that is not intuitively obvious to me and I haven't made it work so far. But it is late and I am tired. If anyone has a simple way of telling me how to do that, would appreciate knowing!

Is the formula you're copying like A2+B2,A3+B3, etc?

You can hover the mouse ovr the bottom right corner of the first cell and click/drag down.

Im worn out from a longggg hot day so that may not be what you meant.

PM me if you need some assistance. My gig involves creative Excel not the traditional use of spreadsheets but I should be able to help you. Have you tried copy, paste special>formulas?

Thanks James; will try that. And Daniel, have a pm off to you. Got it "sort of" working last night, but am sure there is a better way than what I did.

    Select the cells.
    Copy them (Ctrl + V).
File - Paste, select the down arrow for paste options.
