Default Fatip, Progress or Weber ARC?

For those of you who have tried all three of these razors, which would be your go to razor if you could only have one?

I have not voted b/c I just got all three this week, and am enamored with different aspects of each. I just thought the prevailing wisdom could provide some interesting insights.

Never tried the Weber ARC so don't know if I have a valid voice, but absolutely the FaTip.

I assume that you have tried the Progress. Thanks for voting. It's only 3 votes so far, I am surprised they are all for the Fatip (I love it too!)

Weber is not only a terriffic razor- it is an American made bargain compared to other SS razors!

    I am a Weber fan.

(and I do have both Fattip and Weber, Fattip is nice too but Weber seems smoother and easier to shave with to me.)

I thought I could live with nothing other than my Vision 2000. In fact I did sell every other razor except that one (and the ones I bought 40 years ago) at one point.

    They it hit me. WHY....

So now I have more razors than I can shave with and not use the same one again for a couple of months.

    BUT...

Now I am thinking that my Cobra could be the one I could live with exclusively but no way will I get rid of anything again (unless it is a duplicate)

+1 on the Cobra. I'm having to force myself to pick up my Weber, Fatip and R41. This is also a problem because I have about 800 DE blades.

It seems to me that these three razors are vastly different from one another, except for the fact that they're all DE razors. I sort of think it's an unfair comparison.

I've only ever used the FaTip and really like it.
Please don't tempt me to buy anymore.

Well...its not a razor functional analysis poll...Op just wants to know what razor you would prefer for his own intents and purposes and not as a consensus to razor function.

Definitely would take the Progress (LH for me) out of the list of razors you mentioned.

Weber ARC with their Bulldog handle would be very close 2nd... if *long-term* maintenance were an issue, well then it go to the Weber since there are less functional parts to worry about :)

Of those, I've only tried the Progress. I think it gives an amazing shave, but I'd like to try a Fatip next

Have not tried any of these

I am not an open comb man (to be fair, I only used a NEW LC) so it would either be Weber or Merkur.

If it would be my only razor I would go for the adjustable Merkur with short handle.

However, if I was committed to a single razor without any opportunity to replace if work or broken then the Weber would probably be a safer choice.
Joris (not the razor). If you consider it as a hobby, you shave for free.
