Thank you Telephony. You just alleviated much of my guilt, or at least the guilt that I probably should be feeling.

I picked between three and five. After a couple of seconds of thinking I realized I spent over five.

I've been waiting to answer so I could say "zero", but now I'm going to have to start my wait all over again.

Well, look at the bright side, you're pretty much all set up for the next five or six years.

Yeesh, I voted $100-300 as an estimate, but this piqued my curiosity and after going through my finance software for the exact number it came to $324.97 and that is not counting the long comb NEW and Fatip head I shipped out to Dave Friday for re-plating. I think I need to back off for a while, like maybe the rest of the year.

So far, about $90. A new FaTip Piccolo, since I messed up my Grande's head (and the head's interchangeable, sweet deal)- $38. A Wapienica (I hope!) straight- $50. Looking at one more straight, but it'll only be about $15.

I'm new at this, only 3 weeks into DE wet shaving. I have spent over $600 so far. This thread makes me feel a little better about it.

I'll probably spend around $1k in the first 2 months, then it will taper off for a while (based on my patters in other hobbies).

Probably less than $10 in the last four months. It dies down after you have enough soap, blades, and razors for the next 20 years.

  13. Default $1.67

$1.67 - I saw a puck of Williams at a fairly local drug store and couldn't refuse the little blond cutie who had led me over to it.

I broke my gentlemanly sabbatical in Mid May with purchases totaling $72. I plan to get the B&B shave mug, but nothing else. I will try the sabbatical again next year.

    OUCH!

but, I'll be set for the rest of my life, as will friends and family ;)
If you aren't grateful for what you've got, nothing that may be coming down the pike will likely do the trick for you.
