    Default bang for buck

    sounds dirty I know.

well I got a bit cocky with my mad stropping skills and put a pretty impressive pothole in my poor man's strop. so I'm looking to up grade. now I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'm feeling lazy tonight so I'm gonna ask.
whats the best strop I can get for under $100??
I'm a little flexible on the price but I'm what I'm not flexible on is the width. I'd really like something that is at least 3 inches wide. I've been using a straight for less than a month so I cant really say I that I have much prefrence as far as draw and what not.
    Advice??

I just got the Big Daddy from Star Shaving. It is a 3" for round $40 shipped. I have no experience with strops as this is the first I didn't make myself but it seems nice. Feels great on the draw and comfortable to use. Hardware is quality. Not bad for the price.

I bought a Straight Razor Design Modular Strop and it is pretty awesome. Comes with 4 different stropping surfaces and diamond spray.

It's 3"x12" and will always stay flat.

Stick with another poor man's until you are sure you won't cut a $100 strop in half.

    Sage advice!

You can't beat the quality of a Tony Miller. If you can go over a bill a Kanayama is a nice choice as well. As a matter of fact I have both ;).

Was considering buying that one myself but my brother is coming back to Europe for his annual summer trip so unless it goes up again I'm gonna lose it. Will have to make do with the Kanayama that he's bringing me (well it looks like one, haven't checked it out properly yet but here are the pictures from the auction) got it for 1000 yen which is about 12 bucks!!

Edit - Pictures are now in a new thread so not to p off anyone.

    Yup!
I'm looking for something new now as well but not because of any lack from this one. I like it a lot.

Tandy Leather? I know they have an online shop, and sell latigo straps of various lengths.
