I went back to England for the rest to celebrate the British victory in this year's Tour de France. Bradley Wiggans was the first Englishman to win The Tour in it's 99 year history. His Sky team was sensational with Chris Froome coming in second, and Mark Cavendish, from The Isle of Man, winning his fourth consecutive sprint finish in the last stage on The Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

The sad part is my Mother was born in Portugal, and someone in my family usually goes over there for the summer every year. And yet I have not one Portuguese shaving product...any recommendations? My Uncle Nuno is going over in September (starting point, Lisbon of course...)

Pre Dopobarba Santa Maria Novella + Santa Maria Novella shaving cream + New Forest 2213 + Merkur Slant 37g with Iridium Super #2 + Myrsol Fórmula K with Herbíssimo balm

A really fresh, clean shave! This italian shaving cream is superb and has probably the best mentholated scent I have test, really elegant! A shame that it was soooo expensive.

A truly international cast of characters on my fifth wedding anniversary. It all started with the Made in the U.S.A. 8/8 damascus razor with brass wedge dressed in pre-ban elephant ivory which soon took a tour through Europe. The strop hales from Norway; the soap from Spain; and the brush from Portugal. The aftershave is Japanese and the smell-good comes from France. I feel like a new man!
