This may be a long shot here but how many of you will be going to motogp laguna Seca? Or at least follow the races? Ducati will be using new engines for this race so I'm hoping they can finally begin to be competitive again. Anyone have any thoughts on if Rossi will stay with Ducati or make the jump to yamaha next year? What about Nicky Hayden? Think Ducati will extend his contract? It should be a good race and hopefully they'll get next year's teams set soon.

I do, as I do WSB and F1. I would love to go to Laguna but I've read way too many bad things about the organizers and how badly they run it. It's a shame because I'd really love to go. Again, that's from what I've read, not from personal experience. I just hope it pans out for Moto GP to go to Austin since that less than 200 miles away from me. As far as Vale, if Ducati doesn't get their collective crap together within another year I think he might jump. And, they should extend Nickys contract, especially since he's been placing better than Vale.

Rossi is bound to leave and I think it will be a good decision as Ducatti aren't cutting the mustard.

F1 and MotoGP are the only sports I follow.

I hope this engine upgrade helps make Ducati competitive for Rossi's sake. I know how much he'd like to win on the marque. Look at how terrible the Ferrari was in the beginning of the year, they managed to make it work, maybe Ducati can do the same?

I hope you enjoy the race!

So it looks like spies is leaving yamaha which creates an open seat for vale to jump over, it would be nice to see spies on the duc making an American team if they keep Hayden. We'll see if the new engine changes make the duc competitive for the rest of the season. I saw the electric bikes race last year at laguna for the first time, it was weird seeing them but not hearing the bikes go around. I'm only partial to the ducatis because I own a multistrada 1200 and love it. In 2010 I was seated up at turn 5 and saw 4 people crash out on that corner while I was at turn 4 last year and got some great photos, this year going to try a new spot and hope for some great racing action!

Read today that the big rumor is Spies to WSB on a BMW, we will see. I would like to see the Duc more competitive because I'm not a fan of the crt thing. It's like a Le Mans race now where you have two different classes race at the same time. Never really was a huge fan of the four strokes, miss the 500cc two strokes. More so every year lol :)
