I was gifted my birth year Y3 40's style SS by a friend in mint condition. It's a great shaver.

You're a young 'un, Mr. Bakerbarber.

I have two birth razors -- a K1 Slim and a Super Speed. I bought the Slim about 4 years ago for $50 in the two-tone blue World Series Special case that I believe was unique to 1965. The Super Speed was a lucky acquisition about two years ago as I was just hunting down this model for my collection without any regard for the date code, but it happened to be a K1. If I recall correctly, I paid about $30 for it.

Both sets are in prime condition.

    Those are beauties!

I just had another birthday and attended a wedding where the young bride told my wife and I that she remembered coming to our wedding and that now we were the 'old married couple.'

First time I think I've ever been speechless.

I am still on the lookout for a Black Super Speed to go with my Super Adjustable.

My Z-3 Superspeed was $16, I think. Its in user-grade condition. I'd be willing to pay more if I could find one in better condition, but I've been looking for 3 years and haven't found another one at any price.

By comparison, I bought my brother a Good condition Fatboy F3 for $35 as his birthday present. He has yet to use it, 3 years already.

$50 for a NOS '78 SS from my birthquarter.

I did not hesitate to open the blister.

I figured the razor and myself waited long enough.

Got a '48-'50 (birthyear 1948) SS for about $10. Very nice condition.
Got a 1920 (my father's birthyear) single ring in very nice condition for $30.
Both are very nice razors, purchased within the last 6 months.
Consider myself lucky that my birthyear produced one of the best razors ever made.
