I couldn't vote because my birth date pre-dates the FB. However, I bought mine in the late 50s for less than $2.

    Awesome!

Just voted - my favorite was free from my uncle, but the one I use most was just shy of $50 when I got it two years ago.

Back in November, after I got hooked up here on the Forum, I went down an bought all the razors the local antique mall had, good, bad, and ugly for $25. Several Fatboys were included, one of which I kept as a pretty nice example.

A few months later I picked up a short-combed New at an antique store for $5. They were asking $10. There was a hideous-looking Fatboy there with $5 price tag. The proprietor asked if I wanted it for a dollar. I didn't even want it for a dollar so he threw it in the sack with the other razor.

Was considering it for a fun polish and re-plate project but, with a little more scrubbing out inside the head, my wife decided to toss the cartridge razor and appropriate it for herself.

I predate the Fat Boy by a few years, I'm keeping an eye out for a birthday (A3) red flare tip in extra-nice condition.
