I can't make up my mind between the black & brown or the black & burgundy
What do you gentlemen think I should get?

I'm Bruce Wayne. Not Batman. We are two separate people.
Usually im not that big fan of Black & brown together. Its for me something that mismatch. But here I would have chosen the black and brown.
My tastes are simple: I am easily satisfied with the best - Sir Winston S. Churchill

My inclination would be - either black or brown, not the two mixed together. Brown would be more casual overall i.e. can wear casually and with suits for the most part. Black is a tad more dressy. The two together don't accomplish either look well.
If I had to chose, I'd go with Black and Burgandy.
But, only if I had to pick between them. The black and brown is just odd.
Regarding either pair, how would you polish them?

I like the black and brown ones better. I think black and brown are making a slight surge with the more neo-traditional/contemporary folk. I would guess that the black and burgundy combo would be more accepted by the more traditional gentleman.
Probably have to go with a clear polish for either of those bad boys though

Personally, I'm not "feelin' it" for either pair. But that's just personal opinion, not "the rules". So, if you have a yen for those shoes, go for it. I'd probably go black-n-burgundy.
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

I mistakenly thought the poll was for 2 pairs of shoes and voted for a black and a brown pair.
I don't like either of the combos. Too "look at me". I think you should pass on those. You want something different get something in Shell Cordovan or London Tan.

Neither of those would work for me - too much like a golf shoe.

I like the black and burgundy and the brown and walnut but not a fan of the black and brown, the difference between the black and brown is not distinct enough - would really like to have seen a walnut and black
