    Default New garden hose reel

    Hi all,

I finally installed the Rapid Reel garden hose reel I purchased last year. Long story involving reconstuction and a new boiler caused the delay. Yes, I'd rather be writing about a new firearm or other more sporting aquisition but I have to say I am very impressed with this reel and wish I bought one a long time ago. In the days of cheesy, plastic imports these guys are still turning out quality products your grandkids will fight over like we expected as the norm back in the day. Fast shipping in a sturdy double box, each item secured in heavy plastic, assembly tools included, stainless steel fasteners, everything you need for any installation, well engineered, and simple instructions that are in understandable English.

I have several of their older models and they are extremely well made and durable. Just be sure in the winter to pull hose all the way off reel and open or remove nozzle. Disconnect reel from faucet then slow rewind hose to drain and prevent freeze damage. It does have a central metal pipe and metal fittings which can be damged by freezing water.
    Regards,

I could really use a couple of those at our new house. I absolutely hate the plastic carts that we have always used.

Thanks for bringing this product to my attention!

I am going to look for one of those. Like others, I hate the plastic crap ones.
