I have gone through about 50 razors over the last 4 years. I had a rotation down to about 3 until recently, where I sold (forced sale) two more and now I have just my trusty old Merkur Progress long handle. I decided to hang on to this one over the others because it's a true no fuss, perfect results razor for me. I never have calibration problems with it either and unlike many others, I actually like the ivory adjuster knob.

I set it to 2.5 or 3, whiz it around my face and I am left with a BBS shave with no irritation.

I have 21, but three are up for sale on eBay. I have seven that are my regulars, which means I am keeping the 14 others (soon to be 11) for reasons other than how they shave. Some I keep for their historical value (vintage Gillettes), others because of their unusual designs and others simply because I like their looks.

No matter how hard that I try to reduce the amount of razors that I own, it seem every month I always have around 18. I will buy some, and PIF some, buy some, and sell some, buy some more and take them apart to use for parts.

It is madness. I am just going to stop looking at razors on the bay and etsy, because every time I say that I am done and will not be buying any more, I find one that I must buy

I've been tracking mine in a spreadsheet, but went through a period where I was getting them so fast I stopped updating it (and haven't since a few months ago). I need to get back and update, so I have a clue. But definitely 100+...probably over 150 at this point.

Okay I admit it, I have two but then I got back on the wagon. There really isn't any reason to have more than one IMHO unless you truly are a collector and then if you are I would seek out vintage razors, not new ones. Just my 2-cents.
