I just noticed the other day that it's easier to count the boxes full of razors than the total number. I'm well over 300 at this point, including the Rotbart Mond (My first 'bart!) that came in last week.

I think I have 10 but I've been on a SE trip lately so they are getting no love.

I started with a wish for getting a mild, vintage Gillette DE razor. Actually, I didn't know much about razors. I purchased a aluminium handle Tech and a Superspeed flare tip C2 on eBay.
After that, I heard about all these "birthday" razors, so I got an other flair tip SS and a Fatboy, of course.
    Then I joined our B&B.
The true hell and obsession about wet shaving started for good, after I joined the brotherhood.
Now I'm waiting for the arrival of a chrome Fatip Grande and I hope, that I'll get it on saturday, so I can put some tungsten in its handle

I have succumbed to the force that is RAD - recently rediscovered DE shaving and have gone from 1 to 5 in a matter of several weeks. Awaiting my first SS razor - couldn't resist after trolling through the threads looking at photos and reviews.

What a great hobby! Hard to lose money too. Pretty easy to get what you paid for a classic razor. I've probably only got 12 right now, but I piffed 2 last week to guys at work. Got a bid in on the bay now on a birthyear SS to replace one that I piffed and if you've got a new short comb you'd part with give me a PM.

My very first DE razor arrived today in the mail, can't wait to try it out and start honing my technique. If other B&B members can serve as any prediction for my shaving future, more are to come.

You'll be very happy here. That old SS is a great first razor, but it won't be long you'll be wanting something with a bit more bite to it. The SS as well as a tech are a bit on the mild side.

but then again...I'm new at this. I've heard about something called a "Merkur HD"? My old Gillette is apparently "aggressive" and the HD is apparently "awesome."

One day soon, I'll get a paycheck...and on that day...

The count as of today when my Gillette Adjustable arrived is 9 DE & 1 Straight. Actually that's too many for me to use on a regular basis so I'll look at moving some of the ones I don't love to new homes, I'd like to get it down to four razors that I really like using ... that would be sensible.

I use those; they are aggressive but a great DE none the less.

I have one DE, a Merkur 43C HD, and two Schick injectors (which I realize aren't DEs, but I decided to clarify that I use more than 1 razor).

I'm a horse trader. I probably own 5-8, but I'm new to the game, buying, selling, figuring out what I like. I hope to keep it under six.
