Default face moisturizer with spf 30 or above

    Hey,

I am currently using a Jack Black moisturizer with spf rating of 15, however as much as I like this product my skin needs a higher spf rating of 30 or above, so to save me looking through thousands of products, Ive came to you gentlemen for assistance, advice and knowledge.

    any suggestions????

Look into Elta MD Shied or Clear. A great oil free/unscented sunblock with spf 45 that many on this board use daily for sun protection and moisturizing. I put on an AS splash on top for a scent. In the summer, it's been a great moisturizer, but I haven't tested it out in the winter yet.
Many other moisturizers with spf still have a scent (kiehls, JB, L'oreal).

+! for Elta MD products. Otherwise, I'd lean towards Kiehls too.

my wife has sold Mary Kay products in the past and they have a moisturizer that has spf 30 in it, I haven't found a better moisturizer yet and I have tried several, several different brands. I just use the kind for women and it works wonders, no discernible scent to it and it is really light, doesn't leave my face greasy or anything.
However, when I know I am going to be out in the sun alot during the day I typically use that and then put a little Hawaiian Tropic broad spectrum on as well, also very light and doesn't leave my face greasy.
I do that because I typically don't put moisturizer on my ears or the back of my neck. All of which get burned very fast and easy.
Elta MD products get alot of love here and also on the rest of the net, and I haven't tried Kiehls yet, though i intend to as soon as I can find it in a store nearby.
But for my money and face, I haven't found anything better than Mary Kay and I always keep going back to it.

Kiehl's makes 2 items that I believe are both spf50 and are called Facial Fuel. I have not splurged on a high end brand moisturizer, but a lot of my gent friends swear by Kiehls, Benta Berry, and Clark's Botanicals. I know the Nordstrom nearby sells Kiehls but I don't know about the other items. I have checked Sephora and Ulta, neither of which carry any of these brands.
