I knew the nibs must be Bexley, or at least from the same source. Does that mean they are not hand made?

Yeah, I guess that they could just market it as a Binder LE. I just think that the filling system is neat.

Probably about the same as Simpsons being hand made.

Bexley is very careful to never say handmade. They have said in the past "Hand Assembled by skilled craftsmen". When I talked with Howard in Philly earlier this year he made it very clear he was the only "Real" american pen company and all his pens were production style.

While the Dunn filler system is pretty neat. The syringe has been used from Conklin to cheap Walthams and Packards, and works very well. Not really innovative tho.

I really like the looks of the 1901! What do you think about the size, what would you compare it to? I know the dimensions are there, but only capped and posted. I can't write with it capped, and for some reason I hate posting my pens.

I like the 14 too, but wish it came in a color other than the yellow or purple.

Anyone try the 25 Eclipse? It looks cool also, but I am afraid of the nib down orientation. And, what about their stubs, any good???

I have the 25, and enjoy it very much. No worries on the down pointing nib. I want the 19 really bad, and when I do I have to try a stub.

My 14S is a older model. Black with a Sterling Silver cap. The stub nib is very good. I like Crisp Italics better, but all in all a great nib.

I have the stub nib and I do like it, one of the advantages is the variety of Nibs available and the ability to swap them out.
Dave the size is very similar to the Edison Glenmont, a hair chubbier perhaps. No problem writing with it uncapped.

I suspect we will be seeing some more of these FC pens around here at some point.
