Yeah. I'm sad I wasn't able to be there with him. He was with Papa, Mimi, and a few cousins. Had the time of his life! The day before that, he attended his first MLB game in KC. Then tomorrow they'll go to Worlds of Fun!

Here are a couple pics of my dad, the Mrs., and me from a quick trip to the UP. We were fishing for walleye but ended up mostly catching bass instead. If you use your imagination you will probably figure out who is who



Also, the weather changed dramatically over the course of our trip, so my dad sporting the swim trunks while I am bundled in a hoodie and a jacket doesn't make him that much tougher than me.

I was thinking, "Gosh RJ sure is pretty." I'm glad he clarified.

Not sure I've posted here before but I'll share a few. I've been a licensed captain now for 12 years and have been fishing offshore off of NJ now for 17 years.

This was from this time last year. We limited the boat on yellowfin from 60-80 lbs. We actually ran out of room for fish.


This was from this season about a month ago. 100 lb swordfish


And last but not least, 47 lb tilefish from the same trip

All I can say Jay, is WOW! Three of the best tasting fish. Nice work.

It's no trophy, but it's my biggest catfish yet.
