10 inches of ice and -22 currently. Love the ice fishing!

As usual...she caught the biggest one of the day!

Man that is one huge fish.

That is a nice looking Pike, but the Walleye looks a little tastier to me

If you are talking hardwater already, you must be a Canadieran? I live in northern MN, and we don't even have ice-over on our bigger walleye waters. Nice eater in the pic. Merry Christmas!

No catch today. It was just a "we haven't been fishing since summer, and wanted to get out again."

The spot we wanted to visit is under water at the moment, and will be under a lot more water when the spillway gates are opened tomorrow.





So we went across the river to Bayou des Allemands and cast off in front of some cajun's house. We had some company.



I got a few neat shots of the pelicans through my binoculars.

Great day out on the ice, yesterday! My fishing partner and I hauled in 72 smelts total.
