Nice Haul! That Everest cream is very nice, I have a tube, but I'm milking it until I can find some more.

The cream exists, I've never used it. I think it's made made by the same manufacturer (свобода) who makes the other two cream and AS you have on the first photo. Also, apparently it's mentholated with carotene, whatever it means.

As a Russophile and a former Moscow resident this thread is a fantastic find! This forum is so cruel to my wallet, though.

**EDIT: I've noticed a lot of these splashes are sold as aftershaves ... while the box/bottle says "Odekolon" (Eau de Cologne). Is stuff like Flight, Arbat, and Don Juan an actual aftershave splash or are these EDCs?

Malocchio, what do you think about "Крем после бритья" aftershave cream and "Еверест" aftershave? I can get them locally but not sure if it's worth it. I want something soothing for rougher shaves. Are these any good (compared to Nivea Sensitive ASB for example)? Do they feel "greasy"? (I hate that)

P.S. How do those Gillette Rubie SS feel?

Those splashes are in fact colognes... They do use it as an aftershave in Russia but I would't expect a lotion performance out of cologne.

I just tried to order some stuff from the link, and it's not working. Called the toll free number and got a recording that they aren't taking calls and to leave a message. Hmmmm.

The SS Rubies are fantastic! I used them in a krona (medium) a Big Boy (very aggresive) and a black tip (mild) ,and the results were all great. I was surprised the Big Boy handled it so mildly, while giving a super close shave,a truly remarkable blade. The svoboda aftershave cream goes on feeling greasy, but is absorbs rapidly into the skin, and leaves the face feeling non greasy. The big plus with this one is the fresh, and surprising, nice peppermint scent ! no menthol is listed, just the word " parfum",but the peppermint extract is in there and it is very cooling. The other aftershave ...I cannot recognize that name you wrote on any of these ...I should have numbered these, and I will, for other questions that may arise. I have to confess,I really love Russian shave goods, their blades and creams are truly first class, wish they would export more this way !....kaiseris...if you can get Russian shave creams in Lithuania , do so !! You will be happy !

Many colognes, such as 4711,have been used for years as aftershaves. The Russian colognes are all very high proof,so they will do the same job as any high alcohol content aftershave will, but usually the scent will linger longer.

    Default poor cryllic !!

This will make it easier for any discussion, apologies for my lack cryllic knowledge... 1,3,4,7 and 8 are aftershave balms I "think"..only used 2 so far,but I rubbed a little from each between thumb and finger, then massaged into palm. #'s 5 ,6 AND 7 I have had in the past...#5 is "soapy" a very nice shave cream ,#6 is "everest" another great lathering cream ,and #7 is "everest" shave balm,a very soothing a/s . #'s 10 and 11 are 2 of the better Russian aftershaves.#10 is spicy and dry, very pleasant and old fashioned, not the usual American barbershop scent. #11 reminds me of a popular scent in oils called "blue nile",it is a lot like a popular aftershave from the 60's,but I can't recall which one.A dark, intense mix of several aromas, hard to describe. For sure,it takes very little cash to experiment with these Russian aftershaves, and you can always re-use the great glass bottles ,adding your own vintage labels...

The second cream I was asking about is #7 - Everest aftershave Cream.
So far I've tried Tet-A-Tet Shaving Cream and Come Il Faut aftershave gel. I didn't like the second one, but TAT SC was great. I can get locally about half of the stuff you listed here.

No, #6 is shaving cream and #7 is aftershave cream (cream-cologne). At least that's what it says on the tubes.
It would be "interesting" to find that the company puts same cream as SC and ASC But that's not impossible in Russia.

Right...tried it today, #6 white tube of everest is a cream, and a very good one.I hadn't used it in a long time,I forgot the cream is a bright blue, but when mixed with water and whipped with a brush it turns snow white..smells great.

You and me both, LOL. I've had the pleasure of comparing the new and the old formula, both shipr and trojnoi is exactly the same as I remember , my grandpa used it every morning after a one-pass straight shave in the seventies. Oh yeah, the carnation cologne also hasn't changed, it was primarily used as mosquito repellent in many Russian households

It worked for me, I placed an order for three aftershaves, shipping was pretty good too, only $4.99.
