    Default Dove Rose/Palmolive mix

A while back there was some discussion of these two bath soaps being used as a shave soap.By themselves they are decent.I was bored today and chipped up a 50/50 mix of the two.Added a bit of water and heated it in the microwave at 10% power in short bursts and stirred it to ensure a good melt.I ended up with a croap.

I headed to the bathroom and whipped up a lather with an old Burma brush and a sink of hot water.I did 3 passes wtg,atg and diagonal. The foam was low density but stable, not quite a meringue.I used a fatboy with a 4 use derby in it.I got a SAS with no irritation.I think if I had used a fresh blade or my superspeed I would have gotten a better shave.

I slapped on some skin bracer/witch hazel mix with no sting.Pretty good.

A better bath soap/rose scent shaving idea is to lather up a bar of Hugo Naturals wild African rose bath soap together with a little bit of KMF unscented cream. Luxurious lather that smells great.
