    So it begins....
    Now I still want a Gillette from '76. And then....it stops....for real....I think....

You call that RAD??? Report back when you have at least 10 razors. Then we will consider talking to you about RAD.

Hey Chico: Whenever you purchase your '76 Gillette... let us know your next razor. RAD cannot be stopped only contained.

If I had all of my stuff pared down to what you have, I'd consider myself cured of RAD. At least you can use all of your stuff in a week. Trust us, it will only get much worse.
Please don't tempt me to buy anymore.

Oh so funny dude .. two razors and you're done I don't think so, no one gets away that easily. There is always one more that you like, one more you need to try and then there are SE and straights. Also I only see one brush what's with that?
I did say something like that when I had one razor, one brush and just one soap but now 4 months in I have about 10 razors including a straight.
Resistance is futile ..welcome to B&B

Exclamation Trust me, it's not easily overcome

Some time in the mid-1960s, I set aside and subsequently lost some razors from my rawest youth, when I was using my first Gillette Slim Adjustable. I still have that Slim, and two more, and a 195 Adjustable, and two Super Adjustables. When 2011 rolled around, there were five DEs from my young adulthood, still with me, several Atras, a TracII, and some Sensors as well. that was before visiting here.

Now, I have added another half dozen DEs, three SEs, and four Injectors. That's the razors. I have six shave mugs, and six brushes. Each mug has a soap in it. I already had several Aftershaves and several shave creams that were still good from the long journey with shaving that is now at the 58 year mark.

If you have RAD you better have deep pockets because razor prices are going through the roof...

I think it would be interesting if you could update the photo every few months. We will see the AD's as they develop in stop motion.

Chico: We have diagnosed your condition. There is absolutely no clinical evidence that you have even the slightest variation of RAD. Congratulations! Please feel free to check back when any of the following conitions prevail:
    1. You have purchase multiple razors in a months time.
    2. You spend more time searching for razors on B&B, BST, eBay, etc. than you spend with loved ones.
    3. You start internalizing Gillette Date Codes, have a working knowledge of what are approximate "best deals" for all the razors you want/need to acquire.
    4. You have a variety of hideen "wish lists" with at least 3-4 razors at any one time.
    5. You have razors on hand you purchased an have never used.

Until then, be thankful for your shaving-relatd health and enjoy your shaves!

2 razors? TWO? I've won auctions with more than double that many razors, one yesterday in fact. And I DON'T have RAD *LOL*
No really I don't, I got my backup Aristocrat and I'm done, I just keep an eye out for anything interesting or too good to pass up. Yesterday was my birthday AND it was a lot too good to pass up. I have no doubt RAD may rear it's head again, but for now I'm doing alright. Is my RAD really under control or is that what the rest of you guys tell yourselves too? I'm POSITIVE it's under control.

Pshaw! That's just a skinny start on RAD.

Ok Chico, take two aspirin - explain to your spouse she does not need a guest room closet - and call if, in less than 6 months, you get to this:

Now you're making me feel bad. A week ago, I had a rather pedestrian Gillette. Then came a Weishi 9306 off eBay. And today, a Merkur Progress showed up from the B/S/T forum (because after these two, I knew I had to make sure it wasn't the razor that was keeping from getting a BBS shave). Now to get better soap and brush than the "Premium Shave Set" (Van Der Hagen? Via Wal*mart - it was the only thing I could find locally when I resurrected my Gillette). I hate the brush. The soap is OK, but I've seen so much about Proraso, it's a "gotta try."

    It's a slippery slope, eh?
