Default Dovo "Masters" 6/8 Inox, Wade & Butcher Bow Razor w/ Nude Scales

Hey folks, selling a couple of items to fund another purchase. I will ship international as well, please inquire as to additional shipping cost, as prices below include CONUS shipping only.

Dovo Master's 6/8 Inox - NEW: !!SOLD!! I purchased this from SRD. Here is a description from the site: "This beautiful 6/8" Stainless Steel Full Hollow Blade with wonderful etching. It is laid to rest in Grenadille Wood (African Blackwood) that are crafted to a wonderful shape that feels great in your hand. With all this you end up with a gorgeous great shaver." It is still new in box as it comes from SRD so it is shave ready. I did wipe off the oil that was on there and applied Tuf Glide instead. They cost $195 from SRD, selling for $145 shipped CONUS. !!SOLD!!

Wade & Butcher Bow Razor 11/16, Nude Scales: !!SOLD!!
I shouldn't sell this, but here goes anyway. This razor dates from about the end of the civil war (1860's) and has seen little use as shown by the hone wear. The guy I bought it from received it from his father about 80 years ago. He never used it and was still oiled and wrapped as was when his father put it away (incidentally he received it from his father as well!). I don't think the scales are original but they have been on there at least 80 years as the previous owner never did anything with it. At any rate, I cleaned off the old oil and the edge still looked OK. I tried shaving with it and sure enough it was still shaving after all this time... amazing! The blade does have some patina but overall it is in exceptional shape, including the original coffin box. I can touch it up on a Naniwa 12k but I will leave that up to you. it has been coated with Tuf Glide. $100 shipped CONUS. !!SOLD!!

That W&B is something. I can't imagine selling something that had been in my family that long.

Oh well, to each their own I suppose, glws!

I agree! I can't believe no one in his family wanted it.
