You guys are just embarrassing yourselves with your comments, there's nothing really wrong with a Fusion except that it's unnecessary and overpriced.

I find the Mach3 to be much easier and less bulky to use! (If I had to use a cartridge razor

I still have mine (I don't use it). It does give a close shave with little to no tugging or pulling, but there's just a lot of irritation involved.

A three pass shave with a proglide is essentially a fifteen pass shave. So you can imagine the irritation.

We need to support traditional wetshaving companies not these greedy s.o.b's!
Then don't buy Astra blades as they are made by Gillette!

That's absolutely not true at all. A lot if us still use them along with straights, as well as single and double edge razors.

I use a Fusion when I travel. It's quicker and easier to travel with. Normally i'm shaving twice a day when i'm out of town, so while I don't get the closest shave, I get a fairly irritation free second shave.

OK I'll ask the obvious, why don't you just go to the store and pick one up. It would be a lot less then buying one and paying shipping. Inquiring minds want to know.

No, I'm saying that as a tool it's overdesigned and intended to solve a problem that doesn't really exist, but it should work just fine.

Just in the off chance someone doesn't want theirs. Whats the point in throwing it away in trash. A message to all the posters: I STILL SHAVE WITH MY DE!! I just had an instinctive urge to try one.

i'm gonna chime in here, I went very heavy into the de's a year or so ago and now I shave 80% of the time with a proglide. I work out of town for 8 weeks at a time and it is easier for me to travel with and i have an extremely quick and careless shave and off I go. I still use a brush and soap 100% of the time though. But when I get to go home after those 8 weeks the first thing i do is reach for my gillette rocket
