When you apply it with that atomizer, do you just leave it on the face and wait for it to absorb or use your hands?

Thanks for the reply! I am definitely toying with the idea of picking up a bottle solely based on the hype of this site. I am still curious to know the DIFFERENCE between he blue and orange. Is it just scent or is it performance as well. Also if you could compare florid blue to another A.S. what would it be?

Yes they smell differently. The Amber is much more powdery. There is some kind of pepper-ish kind of scent in the Blue that I don't get in the Amber. I wouldn't call the Blue aquatic (as the AV Ice Sport is). I would call both of them "Barbershop." The blue feels a bit more mentholated but even the blue is not a frosty kind of aftershave like AV or Skin Bracer.

When comparing its price to other products be sure to remember and take into account the size of the bottle. It's e or 5 times larger than most other products. THought of in that light it's actually not too expensive at all.

They smell completely different to me - I love them both, but the Blue is definitely nicer

As others have said, you need to keep in mind that the bottle (glass BTW not plastic) is 400 ml. This is 4 times the size of Proraso AS splash which sells for $14-$16. This will also last for a very long time. Also if you order from Joe at Italian Barber and spend $60.00 or more (throw in a tube of Proraso) it will get delivered to your door free. If you decide to try it I hope you like it.

This AS is worth every penny of $50. I am not sure how long mine will last, but it is a great investment. I love the scent and the tingle. Scent is strong for about 30 minutes but fades quickly but you still get a little whiff here and there about 4 hours later. Face feels plenty moisturized.

I have not used many other splashes, but I don't see how anything can compare.

A while back I got caught up in the Floid Blue excitement and almost ordered the $50 bottle before trying it out. Glad I didn't, as I now have 3 samples that convinced me that it's not right for me. If you've never tried it, don't panic and put down the money before getting a sample. Just like all the products on this forum, tastes vary from person to person and the degree of enthusiasm some or even many people may have for a product isn't going to ensure that it works for you.
While a long time lurker, I just joined this past month. So I will put up my samples along with multiple AS when I am able (around mid august).

When I use it at night .... especially when it is left on the skin that smells delicate .... helps me sleep better
Surely to have. I almost see .. if the barbershop has a bottle in storage...and i take it in a future perspective.
I can not believe it was taken off the market!!

The main ingredient is unicorn tears, and as I'm sure you know unicorns are getting harder to find every day.

Maybe I need to score an extra bottle for the future, it's really very nice.
