Default Fatip razor gone bad. Help requested

    Hello all,
A good while ago (probably a year plus), I picked up a Fatip (what is now called a Grande). Since then it's become my go-to razor- I use it almost every time I shave. However, about a month ago, it started giving me trouble. One side of the razor shaves, and feels, as it always has. But the other is ROUGH. It just feels awful and seems to nick me incredibly often.

I believe I've dropped this one once, into the sink at a height of about 2 inches. The blade appears to sit properly. So I'm a little stumped. Would anybody out there have a good recommendation for troubleshooting this? I may just need to buy a new one, but I'd like to avoid it if possible. Thanks for any help!

Wish I could help. I recommend you take some close up photos of what the razor head looks like and how it differs from each side and post it the the double edge razor forum.

Will do, Jim, thanks. Thought I'd picked the right forum, but I may get more over that-a-way.

Charging my batteries to grab some pictures. Though I'm pretty bad at pictures!

Seems unlikely that a two-inch drop could damage a brass razor head, unless it scored a direct hit on the teeth. I would inspect the teeth with a loupe or magnifying glass. If they're out of alignment, you could try your hand with a small pliers. Otherwise, a new Fatip may be in the cards.
