Head and Shoulders for a Bald Guy?

Alright, so this is gonna border on cluelessness but here it goes. If I always get my "hair" cut with a #1 guard and never let the power donut grow past a half inch, can I just use the bar soap I normally use, or do I have to stick with a shampoo. Been using Head and Shoulders since I joined the navy 20 years ago, purely out of habit. Really don't know if I still have a dandruff problem or not.

I use a clipper with no guard, and sometimes finish with a head blade. I haven't used shampoo in many years. I just use bar soap and works fine, no flakes, dryness or anything.

A bar of soap is certainly more prone to cause dandruff then a shampoo. I personally use Lucky Tiger head and body wash and love it. The mint feels great on my scalp after a shower.

As you can see, it did not do any harm, or good.
Head and shoulders is an OTC antifungal. It is felt that dandruff could have a fungal origin . If it improves, the dandruff, then it suggests there may have been.
Your choice, it seems it has been your favorite for 20 years, why switcth to say the Paul Mitchell green tea shampoo, at 30 bucks a bottle.
