    Good word choice.
Thanks! I think the word is accurate in this context, too.

I have both. The aftershave splash I got by accident some years ago during one of the Floris summer sales. Can US based customers still participate in these sales? At any rate, the scent is simply that of the cologne dialed back slightly. If you like the cologne scent, you will definitely like the scent of the after shave splash. I use it mainly as a cologne. I'm only an occasional user of alcohol based after shaves, but it is one of a very small group that I do put on my face occasionally. Nice scent, relatively mild burn, far less drying of my skin than I would have anticipated. For me the big negative is price. Too much for day-to-day use.

The Santal balm is an excellent example of its type-relatively thick, very moisturing, and very soothing. The scent is very, very similar to that of the cologne and the after shave splash. If you don't like thick, creamy balms that feel somewhat greasy on initial application, you won't like this product (I happen to like balms like this, particularly in winter). The balm's scent, like that of most balms, doesn't hang around terribly long, but in my opinion might clash with different cologne scents. By itself, the negative with this product is its high price-too much for every day use.

Yes. I received my package on Wednesday (it Shipped Monday), so a two day turnaround from UK to Alaska. The 30ml EDTs are exempt from the shipping surcharge and they subtract VAT. I purchased the Floris 89 EDT and Floris 89 shave soap w/ bowl.

I personally prefer no. 127 over the death Juice of 89 , As for Elite, Exceptional fragrance for the most hottest of days.

I've pretty much tried all the Floris range, my favourite would have to be Elite, a wonderful fragrance.

My No. 89 arrived today, and I'm very pleased with it. It comes across to me as fougere-like, but with more floral notes, and it develops nicely - I didn't think I'd applied enough at first, as it seems pretty light in the opening, but I soon found I'd used plenty

It lasts pretty well too - I applied it at around 11:00, and it was still there at at 18:00 when I had a shower.

Definitely a winner for me - I think I'd even be prepared to pay full price for it!

The No.89 Edt has been my one and only Floris scent, and I love it so much as to not want to try any other in the range. With the soap and AS too, the combination is awesome. Longevity is excellent. And I did pay full price for my first bottle. Worth every penny, IMO.
