"Looking Good, a Guide for Men"

Curious if anyone else has ever read or perused this book. It is kind of a personal hygiene/appearance manual for men. It was published in 1977, written by Charles Hix. My mom bought me a copy when I was about 17. My folks were divorced, and although I lived with my dad, I think she wanted to be sure I got some kind of instruction in this area. I resurrected it here lately just to see what it said about shaving. The wet shaving instruction relys on canned foam or gel too much, but is thorough as far as using plenty of warm water before and after, using caution going against the grain, and very good on the final stages, AS, ASB and again plenty of water. All in all this is really a pretty timeless, to the point primer, especially for a young, confused 17 year old male. Check one out if you ever get a chance.
