I love everything about it, except maybe how the tub looks, but that means little to nothing.

The performance is quite good, but I found the scent (a heavily synthetic lime) to be horrific. The scent reminds me too much of dish soap. There is no way I could force myself to use an entire tub of it, on a count of the horrific scent!!

I suppose its a good deal if you like a heavy and 'greasy' shaving cream.I bought a big jar of it a couple yrs ago and threw it out, Way too heavy(in an oily or greasy way) for me.And the scent was obnoxious.Essentially,I guess you get what you pay for.

Heavy and greasy? Surely you jest.

The scent while I wouldn't say it's obnoxious did take some getting used to, I'd describe it as a strong fakish lime. Now as for the get what you pay for it sounds like you believe that more expensive = better which we all know isn't the case. Just because something is inexpensive doesn't mean it's cheap.

Thats correct. There are decent "inexpensive" creams, such as...Speick. But even Speick lacks in comparison to top tier creams such as Floris, Pens, T&H, Trumpers or second tier creams such as AdP, CF, TOBS......

You do get what you pay for.....life is to short to go cheap

Interesting. I like both Speick and Frasers. As far as costs go, you can't do much better than Frasers. Good stuff. Scent is very subjective.

Hi, I think this is my second post. I purchased a tub about two month ago and the cream does the job, but is not as luxurious as many of my soaps or Casttle Forbes lime cream (tall order to compare to). It is high on steric acid which soften the beard nicely. As such I now use it as prep cream in the shower. Some times I even leave it on and do my first pass with it then do my other cream, or soap. It is very capable of a good shave by itself but nothing to right home about. That is my opinion of JM Fraizer cream lime. Double O

To a point. Life is too short to... skimp on quality. I am not one for "saving money" per se, I own the Original and the now discontinued Polar Ice, and it would make no difference to me if I lathered it up with my Simpson Manchurian or my Omega Pro, this is just a good cream. Or the 'correct' way to say it: I really like this cream.

After about 3 years of searching out creams the ones I have kept are Penhaligon's, Truefitt, and, you guessed it, Fraser's.

Regarding the scent, I like it, and if you have an open mind about scents, I think it smells like Margarita.

It's a nice cream, very slick and moisterisizing. Mellow lemon scent. Big ol' tub = great value.

No, sorry, don't see any inferiority to T&H or any other cream. Sometimes you get all the name and fancy container you pay for.

Sorry, I do. My standard has moved beyond that of simple BBS to one pass (with touch up) BBS. The only creams I have been able to consistently do that with are T&H (pick YOUR scent), Penhaligons and Floris. I am still determining whether Trumpers is making the grade, I will know that next week. I have not tried Fitjar as of yet, plus I need to revisit Acca Kappa and maybe CF.

I cant get one pass BBS with Frasers, or TOBS or SMN, or AdP or Palmolive or El Melor or Arko (tossed immediately after use) or AOS or KMF or Proraso or Speick or jack Black, etc

YMMV of course. Some folks like VWs, some like BMW. Brand new, b oth will get you there, but the Beemer gets there faster

I'll buy it. If I don't like the scent, then oh well. It's too good of a value to pass on.

I love Frasers, I have the 2 tubs of Oriental Spice and a tub of Jake Sport. To me, they perform as well as any of the Creighton creams (3Ts, AOS, RSC) or any of the other creams I have. The scent of Oriental Spice is amazing, the Jake Sport scent isn't bad either. If they charged double the price and put it in a pretty container, it would be one of the most popular creams on B&B.

+1. It flies under the radar but is a great cream. My only beef is that the tub is too darned big. That thing lasts forever and a day.

+1 Wildalaska. I couldn't agree with you more. IMO,there is a vast difference in quality(as well as price)between a cheap jar of Fraziers and an outstanding overall cream such as Castle Forbes or Trumpers Coconut or T+H Ultimate Comfort(and Rose).. They are not even close to being in the same league !

I also find it appealing to use a no nonsense product with simple packaging. I bet this is like the shaving cream equivalent of Arko.
