    Default Need help to ID a Shave soap mug? Or aleast I think it is a mug?

    I got this in a lot of shaving supplies and am not sure what it is. It had a puck of shaving soap in it when I got it. It looks like a mug but it has not bottom. It is made of metal. It weighs about 12 oz. with the soap in it. Any ideas?

    I have to agree there. However, the shave soap should be first-rate if it is as old as I think it is from the discoloring. There are several threads about how 40-60 year old shave soaps are as good or better than the best of the current products. I look forward to your lathering it up and posting a review here.
