I read in an older thread that it "broke" so my guess is that it wasn't functioning well due to the vBulletin version.

I tried the chat function, but no matter how loud I shouted, it didn't show up on screen, so I went back to posting.

Try reseating the microphone cable and try again. If that doesn't work make sure you're standing upright and cupping your hands around your mouth. Sometimes it you need more volume to activate it.

dose anyone know how to run a IRC channel? because by the looks of things we wont be getting a fully integrated and sanctioned flash chat back. so if someone could manage the chat and maybe convince admin to add a link to mibit wich is a flash irc client.
http://mibbit.com/ this way theres no concrete ties to B&B so if its attacked like last time it wont cause any harm to the site. and vise versa. i will be pm'ing some mods and admin about it. ill keep ya posted on what becomes of it if anything.
