If you like things spicy, try some Sriracha as the sauce. Mmmmm.

EDIT: Also, I noticed a lot of you like thin crust. As a native Chicagoan who sorely misses Chicago pizza, I must mention that a fat slice of Chicago pizza piled high with pepperoni, onion, peppers, mushrooms, tomato, sausage, and lots of garlic is my favorite.

Just cheese and plenty of bacon at our house, everything is better with bacon!

I never really make my own and can't stand most chain pizza joints. I usually order from a local mom and pop place, they use all fresh local ingredients and make their own fresh mozzarella. They have the most amazing sweet, yet spicy sauce I've ever had, my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. I usually order a large pie with extra cheese, spicy Italian sausage and black olives. Less is better IMO..ya get too many flavors rolling around it ruins it for me, not to mention having a dozen toppings gets messy!

Went to a pizza place once with the tagline: corked wine, warm beer, cr*ppy food, and a view of the car park.
Smoked salmon, tomato, some kind of heavenly creme fraiche mozzarrella combo, and that awesome spicy oil drizzle. My favorite pie so far, but I have yet to see Italy.
