If you put a heavier handle on Fatip it will make it a Joris... It's all about the heavier handle

Who sells these? And how much do the handles weigh?

Anyone have these and EJ Chatsworth or Bulbous models with pics?

    Anyone outside of California?

Royal Shave has a code but they're in Cali too.
Bullgoose has no code I can find.

This is mine that I got as a PIF brand new from an Italian member of the forum. If I am careful I can wrangle some awesome shaves out of it, but if not it's a massacre. One of the more beautiful razors I own.

The lined Joris/Plisson and the Limed Bulbous Jagger look almost identical. If you put them side to side, you'll see the (slight) difference between the Jagger's chrome finish and the Plisson's Palladium finish.
Meanwhile, I'm going to have to try one of my spare longer handles on the FaTip.

The Fatip can be aggressive, but if you pair it with heavier handle it takes away the clunky feel and reduces nicks/cuts and irritation

I'll have to try that. I love the head.

And sgtd, I happened to be up early one morning and the PIF'er posted that he would donate a new Fatip to the first post in his thread. I got lucky to be on right when he posted.

I guess you need to smack that beast with a long handle to put it in its place....

You need to get the bigger handle then, it balances it out real smooth.

I'd be interested to know if anybody out there prefers their FaTip with either standard handle to their Joris/Plisson. Most of us prefer the increased control of a long handle, but there's also something to be said for the better maneuverability of shorter-handled razors.

I don't have a joris to compare it to but I love my fatip with the ikon OSS handle its just about perfect, very smooth and have never had a single nick or weeper. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford a joris to compare the two, until then I'll read your posts and drool at the pictures
