Pretty self explanatory, which do you prefer and why: Original, Artisan, La Famiglia?

What? Over? Did you say "Over"? Nothing is over, until we decide it is!
I have 2 of the original, 1 of the artisan and most of the La Famiglia..and I like them all equally.
It all depends on what you're looking for.
Something less soap-like and more cream-like? Original.
Big tub with a big bar of soap with strong scents? Artisan.
Small tubs with more subtle scents? La Famiglia.
They all perform excellently.
you left out the best...KL/888 (shea butter line).
hence, i did not vote.
i have only tried la famiglia. love the green tobacco scent. my great grandfather was a tobacco farmer in the Caribbean. good memories.
anyhow, I have the regular razo soap on the way. hopefully just as good but cheaper. been using it more than my arko
XXX FTW. I have extremely high hopes for the new stuff.
Artisan - scents kinda weak (at least the ones I tried)
La Famiglia - can't get over how disappointed I was with the Nonno Michelino scent
Since the performance of all of it has been ridiculously good, it really just comes down to scent for me.
I really like the La Famiglia line but the Classic is still my favorite
For me, the La Famiglia line is in brand new territory. Razorock has always been solid, but never quite alongside the very, very best. This new line is something special, yet I wish it were entirely a Razorock product.
In my opinion they are all great, but lately I find myself using the King Louis more often than the others.

Out of those listed I voted La Famiglia, although the Artisan soap was getting a ton of use for a while.
My favorite Razorock product is still the 888 soap and aftershave lotion. That stuff is hard to beat.

I can't vote. All of the Razorock soaps are phenomenal. You couldn't buy a bad soap from Joe if you wanted to and that's damn impressive.

Never tried RazoRock. Gee whiz, when you think you've tried them all you find out there's something great out there it seems that everyone but you has tried.![]()
Anthony, the King Louis/888 and La Famiglia are two completely different lines of soaps. They have different manufacturers (Laboratori Cibe and TFS), different formula and different properties. Which is actually better in terms of performance is a very subjective question. My opinion is that La Famiglia is slightly slicker, but the skin care, moisturizing properties and post shave feel of the KL/888 are hard to beat and definitely better. Of course, IMHO.

Never tried the KL or 888. I've got the XXX, Third Eye, and entire line of la famiglia soaps (unfortunately, my stupid self only got the Nonno & Don Marco ASBs). I agree with Marco's statement regarding the slickness of La Famiglia.
Honestly, can't knock any of the RR products. All have been excellent.

I have one tub of the Artisan line and two tubs of the La Famiglia line.
The Artisan and La Famiglia soaps, as mentioned by Marco, are different. They are both nice soaps. Overall, I believe that the Artisan line is better, mostly based on cushion and aftershave face feel. The La Famiglia is brought to almost the exact same high level by the addition of 3-5 drops of glycerin to each lather (IMO).
