    Default New RR Soaps

Has anyone else checked out the new RazoRock soaps? There are some new interesting Artisan soaps as well as a Santa Maria Novella type soap/cream.

I didn't expect more soaps from RR this soon after releasing the La Famiglia line. This is a good surprise though.

I got some of the S. Maria, Mudder Focker, Caribbean Coconut, Moroccan Secret, Nervous Wreck and Baby Blue AS.
    They all look excellent.

Has anyone tried the R160? Is it close to P160 in performance?

The soap just came out yesterday. I highly doubt anyone has received his order already.

I am going to guess no, only because this started selling on 07/03/2012. I am sure someone will make a post about these items soon enough however.

I'm not sure, but I think the R160 is the same base soap as the artisan line with varying fragrance. Joe has confirmed this for all the other soaps, and I think his answer was inclusive of the R160 although he didn't specifically mention it.

I only ordered the S. Maria and Caribbean Coconut. The others sound intriguing but I am starting to accumulate a lot of soaps lol.

I did order a bunch of their soap bars though. Cant wait!

I bought it all, as always. Self control is over-rated.

I wish the website had scent descriptions. All I see is a name and an ingredient list.

How do you go about choosing when the soaps are chemically identical, the only difference is the scent, and there are no scent descriptions at all?

Here are some scent descriptions from the IB thread:

R-160... I think you can guess... it's made by one of the people that use to work at the P.160 factory.

Bee's knees... it's a formula with "cera d'api" added, bees wax... scent is bees waxy! lol

Nervous Wreck... let's call is a Vetiver... it's a very masculine type of scent

Moroccan Secret... it has Argan oil added to the formula; I'm not gonna attempt to describe the scent.

Limited edition... it has a special type of Thermal Mud added to the formula... the scent is also hard to describe, to me, it's very similar to Boellis Panama A/S lotion and is one of my personal favorites.

Speaking of the new Artisan soaps, has anyone else noticed it appears there is a packaging change? Has Joe mentioned doing away with the 8oz tubs? Its not in the product description for the newer soaps. See also the new Chianti Lavendar: more soap, new labeling, smaller tub? same price.
