The stylus top is what does it for me. It works very well with my iPad/iPhone. It also worked with the ticket gizmo at the airport and I'm enough of a germaphobe that I really didn't want to touch that greasy screen.
lmao well this thing seems made for you as well im glad you like it

The black paint on my pen has started to flake off.
I called Monteverde (a human answered on the first ring) and they routed me to repairs. Without making me produce a receipt they took my name and address and said they would put a new pen in the mail by the end of business today. Included with the new pen is a postage paid envelope to return the defective pen.

On that note, other than the paint, I really love this pen. Also, given the customer service, Monteverde did not loose my business. My next pen will be a Monteverde too.

These are really nice pens. I have the Invincia Stylus Stealth model with their 1.1mm stub which I've filled with Visconti Black ink. In the words of Nigel Tufnel, "It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black." I've been really impressed with this pen's performance and am digging the stylus tip. One thing I've noticed is that the tip is a bit less conductive (?) than a finger, meaning it takes a bit more pressure to get the same responsiveness from the screen. Other than that, I've no complaints.

My new pen came in the mail today. They told me to keep the old pen rather than send it back. Now I have two loaded with different inks.
    I like Monteverde.

I'm trying to find an excuse as to why I NEED a fountain pen. One that will work on the LOTH. So far I've come up blank. Maybe I'll ask for one for Christmas... she'll just be happy she's not having to buy me coffee stuff... http://www.elfster.com/profile/view/1533385/

I got into fountain pens as an incentive to improve my chicken scratch.
