Default This came in the mail Saturday!!!

A 1935/36 NEW De Luxe Criterion. I am quite pleased with this one. There is a small crack in the handle and a couple spots on the top plate. It came with a blade case as well, I just don't have pictures of that yet.

Got this at an antique store and picked up some blades and some Old Spice AS at the drugstore. The boar brush, soap and mug came as a kit and was priced a 1.50 less than what it had originally retailed as. It's kinda a stupid kit as the mug is too narrow for the soap that came supplied with it. Also, when i rubbed the tip of the brush across my palm, the bristles started to break in half. The big reason I bought it was because I really liked the handle anyway! But I got to thinking and my brain said to me. "Hey... yeah you... it's hair... why not try some hair conditioner on the brush?" So that is what I did. lots of hair conditioner and let it soak in water. After a few hours it already seems to be turning around.

Is it me, or does the Old Spice today smell a bit different from the Old Spice of 30+ years ago?

The GEM has some plating loss but works perfectly.
Cleaned it up with some dish soap and a brush and cloth and except for some plate loss it is shiny and cleaned with no marks.

Gillette TTO/Tech A 2.... Nothing special, but I drove 200 miles on the Harley to check this on paticular honey hole and this was all I could come up with. So I figured I would post my $8.00 find, cleaned up real nice.
