Oh WOW! You really are raising the game around here, Soren! But I think you chose the wrong EdT today, my friend. It's going to be Mclaren's day today!!

Thank you, Bill I've been holding off using the stick for nearly a week in anticipation of this week's theme.

Thank you, J.B. The 1904 is my sole remaining DE after switching to straights. I simply adore this little Merkur.

Sorry about that, Soren, but I just knew the Boss would have to be seen this morning. Just loving the style changes of late!

Luis, I LOVE the La Toja vintage!. I only used a very light covering of soap, less than I would normally use for any stick, and the lather just exploded. More than enough for 3 passes. I also prefer the scent of the vintage. Once again, I owe you much gratitude for this stick and the AS. Thank you, my friend.

Still testing these spanish artisan soaps, today I have put it in my Old Spice mug, where it fits very well. It makes much foam without problems with a soft citric scent, although is not very remarkable in properties. Anyway is a cheap natural artisan soap and with a so good razor like this Rotbart you will always have good shaves like today!

    Cheers!
I have only tried one brand of Spanish Artisan soap(JabonMan), and my opinion is nothing short of superb for this one. An excellent pic if I may say!

A great shave for a Monday morning. I don't think about the Arko unless I'm traveling, but it is such a good product for the pennies per shave it costs. And the Dovo 55 is a legend in its own right. If you ever happen upon one, do not hesitate to pull the trigger. Of course, the Maxterpiece scales make this one an even more proud member of my very modest shave den.
Two very impressive shots, Bill! I agree with you on the Arko. Not something I would reach for that often, even when travelling. Performance is very good but the scent is something I can tolerate some days but not others.

Oh, excellent, you found the correct thread. I saw your pic earlier this morning but wasn't logged in at the time. A fabulous post it is too! The Duke in Silvertip is gorgeous, isn't it?

Thank you, David. I certainly understand the comparison to urinal cakes with the scent. That said, anyone who doesn't at least try this soap has no idea what a shave stick can truly be like performance-wise!
