Thread: Sir Irisch Moos

    Default Sir Irisch Moos

I used Sir Irisch Moos every day for the past week and I never grew tired of this wonderful frag. I took a 2.5ml atomizer with me to California and I didn't even use half of it. At that rate, my 1.7oz bottle would last a full year with daily wear and it only cost me $13. Real value for your money!

I'm a big fan. I've got a box in the bottom of my closet with all of my "backup" Irisch Moos products. I think there's an extra bottle of edt, two extra bottles of AS splash, and about 3 or 4 extra tubes and sticks each of the cream and shave soap. It's a nice clean, refreshing scent.

What is the longevity on it? Does the scent last all day?

Did they only discontinue the shaving stick? I though they discontinued all Irisch Moos products and thus never bothered trying them so I wouldn't get attached

According to my records I bought mine through Buy.com, but the cheapest they have it for at the moment is $14 + shipping.

I think I am going to order it. It is not an aquatic, is it? I do like aquatics. I have never even smelled the soap. Does it have decent longevity?

It's a Woody Cypher and I would describe it as a slightly sweet, clean, soapy cedar moss. To me the opening is almost like a leathery tree bark, this dampness goes away in the drydown, but the soapiness remains. Irisch Moos is non-offensive and I didn't pay real close attention to its development each day while on vacation with my friends, but I recall a noticable projection in the mornings and maybe an occasional whiff in the afternoons with using 2 small sprays (~0.1ml ea) from the 2.5ml atomizer I brought with. The thing I remember most is how clean and refreshed I felt each morning after applying Irisch Moos, or maybe that was just the California sunshine lol. I'm a sucker for soapy frags and that is what I liked about Montana also.

    No negative reviews on Basenotes...
