    Default Egg salad recipe

Anyone have a good egg salad recipe? Just the basic old fashioned type. I have had a hankering for some ES sandwiches.

    Here's what I do:
    Eggs (like 3)
    Mayo (lots)
    Pepper (lots)

    Optional add-ins:
    Pickles
    Celery
    Onion

Spread that stuff like an inch thick on your bun.

I could eat like a million of those

I like some texture with mine so I usually add celery and onion along with the usual: mayo, dijon mustard, salt, pepper. Sometimes I'll add dill or curry if I feel like it.
Please don't tempt me to buy anymore.

If I'm lazy it's just egg, sweet relish, salt and pepper.

yep, I think that one is it. I found all kinds of crap on food network, like goat cheese and avocado egg salad. Don't get me wrong, I like goat cheese and avocado, but I wanted to old standby.

A splash of Worcestershire sauce or horseradish powder can be nice.

I have a mental block against ESS. As a young boy, I was subjected to some rather unappetising versions on a fairly regular basis (thanks, BC Ferries), and as a result just don't like ESS.

You guys are tossing out some cool recipes, but childhood trauma can't be undone.

I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

Hold the onion and try some chopped green onion instead. A little white pepper works better than black pepper.

Good looking recipe. IMO egg salad should not have celery, onions, or any other crunchy add ins.
